This fabric store is a gem! I live locally and it’s one of the best places around to get quality satin fabrics. Their staff is very helpful and their prices are incredibly reasonable. Below are a few pieces I’ve made from their fabric selection (along with fabric from various shops on the purple dress).

Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you need literally anything in your sewing journey (machines, fabric, buttons, you name it). As a novice with minimal prior experience, I was a bit intimidated finding a pattern and fabrics but Lois came to my rescue and explained the best way to find fabrics for my project and helped guide me through each section of appropriate material. I live in DC but made the effort to visit while in Orlando and wasn’t disappointed!

Replaced the inner rotary and threader hook assembly on my mom’s Destiny Embroidery Machine, and now it’s working like brand new again!

I've had a business trip to Orlando each of the past two Januarys, and this became a "must return" stop. Their fabric selection is outstanding (mostly quilting cotton, but plenty of other types for other types of sewing). They carry fabric lines I don't see carried elsewhere. And their back room houses vinyl in both pre-cut form and on the roll (bolt), with a far superior variety and quantity of choices than anywhere I've been to. I appreciate that they stay open until 7pm (I had meetings, and was able to get from the Orlando Convention Center to their store with about an hour to spare for shopping). The store front from the road is nothing to speak of - all the fun is inside!

My favorite fabric place, they organize by the collection not by color until you get to the solids and batiks. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, if they don’t know they ask they don’t guess.
Sewing basics one, don’t know why I waited for ever but truly loved it. Can’t wait for the next class schedule every 3 months. Look for their annual sale 40% off and get there early. I got a peach pie recipe from a lovely lady while waiting in line to check out.

From the window display of the sewing machines history. To how welcoming every staff member is. I truly enjoyed just walking around and learning. The best part of my purchase was definitely the details on the bags. The store was the right amount of inspiration for my brother and I.
